Flashback Friday: 50 Cent and Jodeci

Friday’s here, and it’s time to say farewell to the month of June. Man, at this rate we’ll be writing our Christmas lists.

But before you turn on The Temptations’ “Silent Night,” revisit a few other old faves.

Curtis Harris remembers a phenomenon.

50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ (2003)

CJ said: “This was my favorite album of 2003. I liked almost every song on it. Personally, I think he still hasn’t topped this album. Favorite songs: “What Up Gangsta,” “Like My Style,” Don’t Push Me.”

Edd said: “The last hurrah for Jodeci might have been their best, producing memorable tracks for altar and the dance floor. Plus, the woman in the “Freak’n You” video might be the greatest video vixen of all time.”
