Progressive Soul Mondays: Wayna

This Ethiopian-born R&B singer’s first career was not in music at all. She has a degree in English from the University of Maryland and, after graduating she began working as a writer for the Clinton administration.  Eventually her heart led her back to her first love: music. She has released two albums Moments of Clarity, Book 1 and Higher Ground. Enjoy!
