Here at Soul In Stereo, we’re counting down to Christmas by featuring our favorite holiday tracks. Here’s today’s Christmas classic:

Today’s entry comes from longtime Soul In Stereo supporter and occasional blogger Desiree’, whose encyclopedic knowledge about music rivals my own.

I’ll be honest – her knowledge surpasses mine.

For example, I totally forgot this song existed. But the second Angie Martinez started her rap verse it all came flooding back. This is one of those song that always popped up on the radio while I was fighting holiday traffic – yeah, Christmas in the city definitely has its drawbacks. But that madness is all part of the holiday’s charm.
