Flashback Friday: Anderson .Paak and Tamia

To our Soul In Stereo fans in the states, I hope you had a great Fourth of July.

I bet you woke folk weren’t too woke to get a rib or two off the grill. But it’s all love.

For our readers outside the U.S., um, hope you had a good regular week.

Here’s something to make it even better – check out these hits.

Anderson .Paak, Venice (2014)

Anderson Paak’s “Bubblin'” is one of my favorite tracks of the summer. And while most fans know him from his breakout record Malibu, Paak’s no rookie. Venice is his actual debut and showed that he was a star on the rise. If you’re a Paak fan and missed this one, catch up.

“Might Be”

“Drugs”

Tamia, Tamia (1998)

Over on the Soul In Stereo Cypher on Facebook, we had a great convo about what makes a 5-star album. In my opinion, you don’t have to look any further than Tamia’s debut. While we impatiently await her new album this fall, check out Tamia at her best.

Also check out:

“Rain on Me”

“Loving You Still”
