“This is hard because I have 96 songs on my Spotify Christmas playlist. But one of my favorites is of course “This Christmas” by Donny Hathaway. I like to hear fresh renditions of classics but most remakes of “This Christmas” are pretty horrible or just boring. One exception for me is jazz singer Kurt Elling’s version. I recommend this version if you’re looking for a good cover of the song that won’t make Donny Hathaway roll over in his grave.”
