Flashback Friday: Lecrae and Xscape

TGIF, playas! What’s on your playlists today?

gravity

Lecrae, Gravity (2012)

Lecrae pulled a Beyonce last week, dropping his Church Clothes 3 mixtape out of the clear blue sky. And just as you’d expect from Lecrae, it’s fire. Although he’s been in the game well over a decade, his star is just beginning to shine in the mainstream — it’s LONG overdue. His 2012 album is proof.

Xscape, Off The Hook (1996)

I’ve been on a ’90s girl group kick lately, so best believe Xscape’s sophomore album has been in heavy rotation. You’re more likely to see Michael Jackson’s kids moonwalking on Mars before we see an Xscape reunion but at least they left us with plenty of hits.
