This year at Soul In Stereo, we’re spending 25 days featuring 25 of our favorite underrated Christmas songs — those songs that bring back wonderful memories, yet few people seem to know them. Let’s give those songs the shine they deserve.

Nope, that’s not a typo — OutKast’s now-historic debut single was initially part of the 1993 LaFace Family Christmas album. Most of the seasonal references were removed when the song graduated to the group’s first LP, but if you listen closely you can catch hints of them. But if you’ve never heard the original version, check it out below. When all the players came from far and wide, bet you didn’t know that included Santa’s workshop.
