Flashback Friday: Jodeci and Deborah Cox

I don’t know about y’all, but I’m in the mood for some R&B this fine Friday.

Apologies, playas: Work, life and these annoying allergies have blasted a few holes in my review game. I still haven’t listened to Jodeci’s comeback album, which dropped a few weeks ago. I’ll get to it soon. To tide you over, reminisce over their glory days. Forever My Lady is a true R&B classic, marrying traditional R&B with street sensibilities. It changed the game.

My fantasy baby momma Deborah Cox’s new album, Work of Art, is scheduled for later this year. In the meantime, there’s no harm in revisiting her old hits. The Morning After, her third set, flew under the radar but has its share of winners.
