Flashback Friday: LL Cool J and Keith Murray

I don’t know about you playas, but I’m ready to put this week in the rear-view.

Let’s cap things off right – with some hot music.
LL Cool J, Mr. Smith (1995)
Uncle L always has been known as the comeback king, and after a disappointing 1993 release, he came roaring back with this double-platinum hit. His R&B-tinged crossover hits kept cash registers ringing, but his street bangers keep hip-hop heads happy.

See, there’s room in my heart for more than one Keith! And no, I’m not talking about Chief Keef. Keith Murray had one of the most distinct deliveries in the game. Whenever he was on a track, you KNEW it was Keith Murray spitting. And why didn’t we ever get a Keith Murray/Keith Sweat collabo? The world was robbed.
