Edd Chats with Virginia’s Hot 91.1 Radio Station April 16

What are you doing tomorrow morning besides working hard or being a sleepy, lazy bum? Or, in some cases, working hard at being a sleepy, lazy bum?

Not much, I’m betting. Why not listen to your favorite blogger on the radio?

I’ll be interviewed by my hometown radio station WNSB Hot 91.1 Tuesday morning at 8:55 (that’s 7:55 a.m. for my Birmingham peeps on Central time. The rest of y’all will have to figure out your own time zones).

I’m pretty excited and very honored. Hot 91 is the product of my alma mater, Norfolk State University and over the years it’s grown into my favorite station in Hampton Roads. Unlike almost every other station on the planet, it doesn’t conform to playing the same three top 40 songs on an endless loop. Thank the Lord for diversity. Plus, it’s my home, and there’s no bigger cheerleader for Virginia’s seven cities than this playa. I’m really humbled to be asked to share my views with my hometown fam.

For those who aren’t in  the motherland of Virginia, you can catch it online at www.hot91online.com. I’ll be talking about community involvement and, of course, music.

Check your boy out. And place bets on how long it will take for me to name drop Keith Sweat.
