Progressive Soul Mondays: Carlitta Durand

Influenced by music at a very early age, Carlitta Durand started singing in preschool.  She moved to North Carolina from Minnesota at the age of 14. There her family made up the choir at the church they attended.  While attending North Carolina Central University, Carlitta was able to network and has had the opportunity to work with hip hop group Little Brother and producer 9th Wonder. Carlitta was influenced by Chaka Khan, Prince, SWV, and A Tribe Called Quest. Carlitta continues to be featured on projects from +FE Music and is independently releasing her music. Enjoy!
