Here’s today’s question:

Are men more attracted to women who are the center of attention?

Let me start by saying we all have our preferences – there is no hard and fast rule here. I know plenty of guys who won’t pursue popular women – too much competition. But I think in a lot of cases – my friends and myself included – people are drawn to those who are outgoing and exhibit some sort of charisma.

Look at elected officials, for instance – some of them are dumber and have lower moral standards than you and I, but they have a magnetism that draws people and leaves ’em hanging on every word. Even if it’s been years since they’ve made a notable contribution to society, they remain in the limelight solely because they’re always in the thick of things.

Ugh, I think I just realized why Diddy still haunts us after all these years.

Yes, some guys love girls who are outgoing, popular and aren’t afraid to speak their mind. But, like everything, there is a limit. There’s a difference between being the center of attention and demanding to be the center of attention. You know the type – people who butt into every conversation, make sure they’re the loudest in the room and are always spouting ill-informed opinions (often about subjects they know nothing about). Bless the child who has patience to put up with folks like that – this playa ain’t one of them.

While I just admitted that some guys are indeed attracted to outgoing girls, ladies, keep this in mind – remember to always be true to yourself. Don’t pretend to be Miss Center of Attention if that’s not your style. Not only will it come off as fake – or worse, you’ll end up like those demanding loudmouths I mentioned earlier – you should never hide who you truly are. If you’re attracting guys using a facade, they don’t like you, they only like who you’re pretending to be.

Yeah, some guys like a girl who can command an audience. But if that’s not you, never fear. Just be yourself.

In any case, in the name of all that is holy, don’t be like Diddy.

Take that take that take that.

  1. I wouldn’t say that I’m “more” attracted to a woman who is the center of attention. I don’t care if she’s getting attention or not.

Will I approach a woman who’s getting all the attention? Probably not, because she’s probably already agitated by the time I speak to her, lol.

A woman has to be a little outgoing and have some kind of depth. It doesn’t hurt to be friendly either.
