Progressive Soul Mondays: Frank McComb

Often compared to Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder, jazz vocalist/keyboardist Frank McComb got an early start at the tender age of 13 playing in nightclubs in his native Cleveland, Ohio.  By high school he was fronting his own trio.  After high school, McComb met Jeff Townes, better known as DJ Jazzy Jeff.  Townes eventually convinced McComb to move to Philadelphia where he met and began working for legendary producers Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff.  McComb has released six albums as a solo artist and two albums as part of the jazz group Buckshot LeFonque.Enjoy!
