Femcee Tournament Regional Semifinals, Part 1

The first round of Georgia Mae’s Femcee Tournament is in the books, and last week marked the fiercest round of competition yet!


Here are the results of the Florida Evans Region:


It looked bleak there for a moment but Jean Grae put away Jacki-O with 60 percent of the vote.


Digga Digga (birth name Rashia) and MIA were neck and neck throughout most of the voting period but when the smoke cleared Rah Digga was left standing by just a 10 percent margin. Harriet Thugman was victorious with 57 percent of the vote.


Shawnna proved that she’s a force even without Ludacris in her corner, knocking off Ms Jade with 67 percent of the vote.


Poor Lil Mama was way over her head battling Bahamadia, who won with 100 percent of the vote. After her loss, Lil Mama revealed that she was really Lil Bow Wow in drag, confirming my suspicions.


Today we head into the regional semis, which means the competition only gets tougher. If you haven’t voted yet, I sure hope you aren’t as lazy on your Census forms. Geez, voting is easy – just click over on the right. Voting ends Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST. The rules:


– Vote for who you feel is the better artist, not necessarily your favorite artist.


– If you’re unfamiliar with an artist or just can’t remember a person (trust me, we go waaaay back for some of these ladies), simply click the links I’ve provided below for a refresher. Try not to shortchange anybody.


– Please don’t stuff the ballot box. For you computer hackers out there, have some integrity. If Queen Pen miraculously gets 200,000,000 votes out of nowhere I’ll call foul.
