Amid outrage from politicians and the public, the White House says it's looking at restrictions on some $30 billion in taxpayers' money approved to help American International Group as the administration tries to reclaim or block millions of dollars in bonuses the struggling company awarded executives. Pope Benedict XVI said today that the distribution of condoms is not the answer in the fight against AIDS in Africa. He has stressed that the Roman Catholic Church is in the forefront of the battle against AIDS and the Vatican encourages sexual abstinence to fight the spread of the disease. "You can't resolve it with the distribution of condoms," the pope told reporters aboard the Alitalia plane headed to Yaounde, Cameroon. "On the contrary, it increases the problem." MSNBC

DJ AM (a.k.a. Adam Goldstein) filed suit Friday against Learjet for the crash that injured him and Travis Barker, and killed the jet's pilots and Barker's assistant and bodyguard. ,The suit seeks $10 million for injuries and lost earning and another $10 million for pain and suffering. DJ AM and Barker suffered burns in the September 2008 crash, from which the two helped each other to escape and were the only survivors. People magazine
